really they're pretty boring

Jon in the twin cities says he did not go in to find out whether or not these "oddities" were actually odd.

i found this cup at a second hand shop on the weekend. i don't know if it counts, but i'm still not sure what the person really would "rather" be.

Oh no, I think it goes the other way. It's not that they're boring, it's that they go so far beyond odd that they have to tone it down to "oddities" to avoid scaring everyone away. Like, "It's okay, they're just 'oddities'."

What a marvelous site! I see these misused quotation marks everywhere, and I thought I was just being irrational or anal to care! Itr's nice to find "like-minded" people ... quotation marks intended.

I blogged about this site, and others, at Under The News.
