i thought at first they were calling me boss, which is one of the most annoying informalities to date. also, it appears this may be the second try, as writing can be faintly seen coming through from the other side.
Hmm. Well, if they didn't have an actual boss at the time, the quotation marks actually make sense. If the note-writer was ostensibly the boss, but not in title, that would make him or her the "boss."
The rest of it, on the other hand, is a big ol' mess.
Did they not have a "Boss" because he or she was Out and Off Service?

I've tried the Out Off Lime Service below the upstairs (ground floor if you aren't hip), and I have to agree it's "Boss"! Totally rad!
