"innuendo-fest"

Seriously. I'm not sure if "tug" refers to anything illicit in particular, but it sounds like it could. And if we're having a fest of it... Thanks, Brieanne.

  3. Perhaps it's a Wilson family reunion?

  4. A church having a Tug-Fest would be bad... a church having a "Tug-Fest" (with the implied eye wink, and elbow nudge) is just terrible.

I'm not even joking that I wouldn't take my children there. Either because the pastor is so out of touch that he doesn't realize that his sign incorrectly implies... or because little Tommy is about to be on a news report.

    I consider both bad.

  6. sorry, i can't help it, i'm from the area and i'm familiar with the fest. the tug fest is an annual tug of war match across the mississippi river. there are lots of vendors and activities and fireworks along with the actual tug. that said, i'm still weirded out by the use of quotations by that church...
