This sign comes to me every year on Halloween, because the LAPD puts it up every year. They are obviously quietly condoning the use of silly string, and have been for years, since it is "illegal" and you will be charged a "fine." Thanks for this year's installment, Maggie.
Submitter Cody didn't mention any digestive reactions from real vegans eating "vegan" food, so I'm not sure if these quotes are necessary or not. "Happy hour" though, does not require actual happiness.
Ok, this got better when I read the email it came with and realized that Cameron is the one who sent me this, and they named the wrap after him because he orders it all the time. But maybe they are skeptical on his idea that it's actually a wrap.
Ashley spotted this at a clearinghouse where she was sincerely volunteering, sorting and preparing donated shoes for orphans around the world. However, the hard work and the quotation marks combined for an ominous effect indeed!
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.
