relatively fresh

Matthew spotted this in a Las Vegas hotel. I guess somebody had an opinion about the Vegas air quality.

Don't "sit" here

Or don't do any other bench-type activities? Thanks, Kayla.

"outside" eh?

Oh, YOU may call it "outside" in your bumpkin ways. We call it something else. Thanks, Joey.

It's the "funnest"

So, either it's not fun at all, or this person is convinced that "funnest" isn't a word but couldn't be bothered to write "most fun" instead. Thanks, Kristy.

doggie "treats" eh?

I'll let submitter Scott explain this one: "This sign is posted at a dog training facility. It does actually mean treats that people give their dogs during training, but the quotes make me wonder whether it's also a euphemism for, um, doggie calling cards."

free to YOU anyway

I imagine a behind-the-scenes for this one when somebody is about to print up the sign and the office nit-picker points out that it's not REALLY free because SOMEBODY pays for it. Rather than argue it, the sign-maker just puts the quotation marks there and hangs it up. Thanks, Jack.

you know, "slippery"

You never know when you might "fall down" unexpectedly, what I didn't push you, I didn't even touch you! Thanks, Clara.

no relief at all

I guess it's really no relief inside this place, it's just bright lights, a mysterious high pitched whine, and a funny smell. Thanks, Aaron.

"no glass"

As the photo demonstrates, the dryer here is really missing glass. I guess the quotation marks are to clarify that there is still glass in the world. Thanks, Bruce.

right, so this thing

Jodi's email to me rightly pointed out that the number one thing we should note about this is that it's a funeral home beer cozy.

So now that we let that sink it, they also apparently have a song they sing about family, maybe it's related to drinking cozy beverages.
