Um, the pre-prism version?


Teresa spotted this in Bucharest. She said the name translates to "rainbow" and I guess the quotation marks make sense, since everything I see here is white.

Is it normal to have the first mark be down low in that language?

It is. Not only in Romanian, but, according to wikipedia, also in Estonian, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Lithuanian, Macedonian, and several others: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-English_usage_of_quotation_marks
