Submitter Tyler tells us these signs are from a pet-themed trinket store. These must be some pretty sweet trinkets, since you can't mime photographing them, and they are only fake polite about keeping your kid's dirty mits off.

They can't keep up with modern technology, so they're not sure that "photo" and "video taping" are the right words.

Classic Steve is right, since a lot of people rarely print their photo's anymore but merely put them online or in display frames/digitized CD's.
"Photo" taking and "Video taking" refers generally to obtaining evidence that the merchandise is stolen. Most stores would appreciate pictures of their merchandise circulating.
