thank you "all"

I guess it's not really "His Granddaughter"? I'm very confused about what this sign actually means. thanks ("thanks?") Ken.

They must've had a few extra apostrophes and quotation marks to hand out.

The writer of this sign definitely was absent when punctuation was covered in sixth grade. Yikes.

I think they're saying that the little girl who is posing as Bob's granddaughter is a special art and frame client. She must give him a lot of business.

I think the customer's and client's art and frames are going to be lonely without Bob, and this sign is to let them know it's a REALLY special job, and Bob will be back soon.

I was trying to search for some quotations on estimation, and found this blog by accident. Was pleased to reach here. I invite you to visit my blog: http://blog.Hardeep.name

I liked your blog so much that I am linking to it from my blog. The link appears here: http://blog.hardeep.name/thelinks/

@Joe: Sixth grade? Try first grade. There's a period where a comma should be, and the capitals are all too random.

This sign disturbs me. Why is so necessary to "try" to explain to the customers about the granddaughter anyway?

Wow, that's a classic.

You should do a companion to this blog, called "Unnecessary Apostrophes".

"Client's"

I think he's leaving his job after 30 years to help out with caring for his granddaughter!

By the way, on another note, have you ever seen a newspaper Web site packed with unnecessary quotation marks? Here's one!
