oooh "sky" sports

I don't know what constitutes sky sports without quotation marks, and each of these features is in single quotes, making me think they are in fact quoting the features of some other pub, and skeptical about the skyness or liveness. Thanks, Thom.

Maybe they are referring to something purported to being a British satellite television service...

JM is right, Sky Sports without the quotation marks is a pay tv channel owned by Rupert Murdoch (of Fox and owning loads of British newspapers fame). Sky bought the rights to show most of the big British sporting events, which means if you can't pay to have it in your house, you have to go to a pub to watch them.

Maybe the "live" entertainment is provided by zombies.

Did anyone else notice the asterisk after the "Free Hire" parentheses? Did anyone else also notice that there is no clarifying asterisk at the bottom of the board? :)
