3 "D"

Ben saw this in Inglewood, CA. I guess the letters only APPEAR to have 3 dimensions. Or something.

Maybe they have 3 letters, and they're all D's.

Grant and I had the same thought!

I’m thinking they nearly flunked three classes.

Maybe they're "3-D" like those digital pictures that when you stare at them long enough, they pop out at you?

What! I laughed out loud when I saw this.

Looks like they have a sign shop in a motel!

Not quite the Bradys said...

D D D

Thanks Grant, Kelly, and Andi for beating me to it. That's what I get for being busy for three days. : )

I think it's one of those lame puns that nobody would get if they didn't emphasise it. Because, you know, "D" is a LETTER! :-O

Oh, I'd say it's definitely three "D" letters, not "3-D" letters.

Maybe it's a terrible, cumbersome way of indicating that Dan, Doris and Dave all own the motel/sign business together. The Three D-migos,as it were.

Or you can actually buy 3 big ol' representations of the letter D here. But only in packs of 3. And no other letters.

Maybe this motel has a sideline in selling alphabet sets to people with those movable changeable signy things, and the manufacturer screwed up and sent alphabets composed entirely of D's, so now they have massive overstock....

It is absolutely true that printed signs with dropshadowing only appear to have three dimensions. These sign printers are far smarter than you imagine.
