Technically, Xns worship the risen JC, so maybe they did think this one out and appropriately threw in quotations for the sake of signifying the fact that they don't worship Jesus, the historical figure, but "Jesus" (i.e., the risen Christ, not just Jesus). What is most likely, though, is that I am giving them too much credit. I also succeeded in bringing an element of seriousness into a very funny blog, so crucify me.
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

haha that is too funny.
It's a Hispanic guest speaker named "Jesus" (i.e. Hay-soos)... not the original.
Is this another name for Jebus?

I usually start the day with "Damn!" but I suppose "Jesus" would work just as well.
I don't know about this "Jesus" but I'm distracted by the affordable junk sign behind the first one. It seems oddly placed.
Michelle, it actually says Affordable Junk Removal, so it makes sense...it's there to remove the unnecessary quotation marks!
Amazing post...
thanks you very much....
