Actually Chick-fil-A employees are required to say "My pleasure" instead of "You're welcome" so they are quoting their employees' words :)
Ditto Ruth. I think it may be an appropriate use of quotes... they said the "thank you" and are refering to their own policy with the "our pleasure."
Got to agree. They always say "our pleasure", still funny though.

As a former Chick-fil-A employee, I have to agree with the above posters about the "our pleasure." We were told that we were, under no circumstances, to say "you're welcome," but we had to say, "my pleasure." It actually gets to the point where, after a few weeks, you say it to your friends and family in normal situations...haha
It irritates me to no end that at my local Chick-fil-A they say "my pleasure" every time I say "thank you". I happen to be a polite person and may thank them several times during a transaction (when they read my order back, hand me back my debit card, hand me my food, etc) and hearing "my pleasure" over and over bugs the hell out of me. It sounds so fake and rehearsed! I think Chick-fil-A should just allow their employess to say "you're welcome" in a sincere voice. Geez!
