donut-like food

Somebody refered to these as coffee and donuts, so we took their word for it but thought we should cite our sources. Thanks, Rudi.

I wonder if paying "$1.99" versus $1.99 would be acceptable.

Ooh, tea and a bagel for $1.99. Sounds good.

I've been to plenty of restaurants that serve "coffee".

I once had "coffee and doughnut," which is not to be confused with "coffee" and "doughnut." "Coffee and doughnut" is when they put a teaspoonful of instant powdered coffee into the doughnut batter (dough?), and then you only need a cup of hot water for dunking, as the coffee is already in the doughnut.

Clever.

Also very weird. And disgusting.
