Just a "random" passerby, but I love your "blog". Most browsers, like Firefox, work fine with a BMP or JPG just renamed to favicon.ico, but IE doesn't like them unless they are "real" .ico files. You can find several favicon generators online. I hope that helps.
Where on photobucket? I don't even know what a favicon is, but I hope to find out soon.
