quick! exclude something!

Heather suggests that somebody added the caveat about lamps to make the quotation marks on this one necessary.  Which would be pretty awesome.

Also notice that they say TV'S as if the televisions own the word today.

I would argue that there is a hint of tautology in that sentence as well as the unnecessary quotation marks, due to a TV not being an item of furniture anyway. Or a lamp for that matter.

If cabinet TVs were still being sold, they would definitely qualify as furniture. Come to think of it, the enormo-tube ones are quite the centerpieces as well.
