I would argue that there is a hint of tautology in that sentence as well as the unnecessary quotation marks, due to a TV not being an item of furniture anyway. Or a lamp for that matter.
Look 'r up, John.If cabinet TVs were still being sold, they would definitely qualify as furniture. Come to think of it, the enormo-tube ones are quite the centerpieces as well.
Why don't they make a sign reading,"20% off selected items"?
