The translation is "If your first question is "how much?", you must be lost. Come back when you want the good stuff."
If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. :-)
This is one of the funniest signs yet. I love the disdainful look on the face of the guy in the picture next to it too.
I'd love to say that they were being snobby, but horrid grammar in cheap marker just doesn't give it that self-righteous feel.
LMAO isn't "that guy" Elvis?!
If the ice cream is that expensive, I don't think I want it... You have to love the horridness of the sign in general, though. I am especially amused by the tiny "good bye" in the corner.
It's Takoma Park, MD. And everyone who lives there looks like that guy. ;)
The fact that Elvis is in the background truly makes this The Best Sign Ever.
Um...what? Usually when I buy things, I like to know how much they are. Unless this particular shop is called "Everything is $1" then imma ask my question anyway!
I think this sign makes perfect sense. "If you're willing to pay any price for our ice cream, welcome! If not, get out of this town."
My "question" is: if they have such fancy ice cream why don't they have a fancy sign? Oh, I guess they can't afford it. Hey Ruth, that guy in the pic next to the sign is Elvis! I'm sure this was the most recent place he has visited since his "disappearance". LOL
Haaaalarious! They put the question mark in quotation marks, but left how much without any. Luv it.
LOL...I think I was outside this place earlier today.
Hilarious sign, but to be fair: it IS the best ice cream you'll ever taste (really!), and he makes it all from scratch in the shop. Oh, and he's NUTS about Elvis, so...
Hey Jen, New guy here, until addie said she knew of the place, I thought maybe it was a Cold Stone Creamery (which is waaaayyy over priced). But then, they can afford better signs. All I can say about the sign is that with an attitude like that, his ice cream had better be friggin' fantastic if he wants to stay in business.
It's drugs. He's selling drugs.
Here's my question... Why must you be "lost" if you're wondering how much ice cream is? Seems like and odd thing to say...
