euphemism for dolls

Chelsea saw this at the Cabbage Patch hospital. I suppose, technically, these quotation marks ARE denoting euphemism. Just a really dumb one. I'm also uncertain why 'kids needs an apostrophe.

i think the apostrophe denotes the omission of "cabbage patch", which would make it correct (although backwards).

the quotes in the box are just plain silly. i guess they could put "adoption fees" in quotes if they wanted to call attention to their cleverness.

clevertude?

As an adoptive mother, I truly dislike Cabbage Patch doll "adoption fees." But that's just me...

Shouldn't "kids" be in quotes? Wouldn't that make more sense than whatever it was that was in quotes?
