I found this blog through an article on msnbc.com. It's probably the funniest, yet saddiest, blog I've run across. Of course, I've shared it with everyone I know.
Hi, I don't know if you take cites for unnecessary quotation marks in text rather than signs, but just in case, look at this article:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29034232/
Excerpt: The findings might be sound, but what about the old dating adage to just be yourself?
"From an evolutionary perspective, there is nothing wrong with a woman being 'open' and 'honest' about who she is — it is simply in her best interest not to present herself as actually interested immediately," Place said.
Sooo, is it okay to be open and honest about who you are, or just "open" and "honest"?
Your blog is great! There's just something innately hilarious about inappropriate quotation marks. (Or maybe that's just my inner grammar nerd.) I'm totally linking to you on my blog.
After reading this and laughing my head off for a bit, I went back to reading work emails, one of which had our "Education" Director referring to art contest "winners." Thank you for helping me see the humor in what passes for my career.
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

i guess it's easier than putting wink wink on the sign.
