yeah, your time is "important"

Izzy found this at Edinburgh university, where they do not believe there is such a thing as an inconvenience.

Well, they are just telling you that the "convenience" is unavailable!

You think that's inconvenient? They'll tell you about inconvenient. The man who wrote this sign didn't even have a bathroom growing up. He had to walk 10 miles up hill each way in the snow just to get to an outhouse...

Did you see this one?

The "inconvenience" is almost -- I do say almost mitigated by the classy use of the word "refurbishment."

Outhouse? Luxury! Why, we had to use a hole by the side of the road!

Screw that noise. I'd pee on the floor right in front of the sign.

I bet when they were young they had to run 5 miles into the field in the middle of winter knee deep in snow and squat every time they needed to go to the toilet.. hmph kids today and their "inconveniences".

Perhaps it's more than an "inconvenience" if you end up not making it to 4601? :)

as ajw_93 notes, the quote marks are a joke, because public restrooms are often called a "convenience". One that is out of commission is an "inconvenience". Therefore, the quotation marks are there for a reason.

How bizarre, I've actually seen this! Weird to read something on the internet and find something you "know" in "real life".
