What I love about that is if you put the quotation marks around what Mr. Shoe Shine is allegedly saying, this sign would be totally grammatical. As it is, I guess Mr. Shoe Shine doesn't generally say things or something. Thanks, Noah who posts at Skull a day.

Of course since he "says" no shoe shines available, one need only take note of the second sign in which the truth is clear: you can still get one.
