Colin sent this one. There may be some pun or euphemism to how these folks are really paying for college. Maybe they show up at the student accounts office with a bucket of berries.
@Peggy: It would make more sense if it said "Berry way," which was an early plan of students to work their way through school on the Berry farmlands. But who really knows?
@emily michelle: I'm going to assume their customers are being thanked for contributing to tuition? I dunno. I just wanted to find out if "Berry" meant Berry College(I'm from Rome, GA), so here I am blathering on and on now...
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

It's probably Berry College, in NE Georgia. Doesn't justify the quotes, but makes a bit more sense.
- or a last name, which could justify the quotes.
What I don't get is the thank you. Thank you Mr. Berry for helping us pay for college?

I am nearly sure this is the sign from one of the produce stands in Portland, OR, which specializes in berries.
I drive past it every week.
