there's just quite a few here


I've been directed to the Zigat Guide before because of their overwhelming number of quotation marks. I agree with Laura who sent this to me that these are quoting individual's opinions, but it is, well, excessive, don't you think? (click to enlarge)

It's difficult to read...not because of the picture but because of all their quotation marks; I find myself pausing after each word/phrase in q. marks. Dear Lord. That's overload for sure.

But the entire POINT of the Zagat Survey is that it is quoting the survey-takers! The very purpose of each Zagat Survey entry is to compile things that several people have said into a single paragraph, so that it is really written by the people taking the survey, rather than the editors who collect the surveys.
