Malachi claims to have gotten stuck in a recursive loop by this sign. I can't say I did much better. Slow posting this weekend, I'm at the public address conference learning things.
Gawd, if people actually thought for 3 seconds before they did stuff like this, it wouldn't happen so often! However, is it wrong that I want a 3lb burrito now? I'm sorry. :D
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

I could see this sign maybe having a set of quotes. Just not there. Maybe after the word "said"; you know, around the quote!
Man, that sad. They were almost correct. Should be yes, we said, "3 lb burrito."
I like that the second "3 LB. Burrito" is slightly smaller. As if the first one is shouted and the second said with more calm.
any restaurant that uses Shoe Carnival as a landmark has to have some quality food!

Part of me wants to move that second quotation to after "Yes," so at least that line reads properly on its own:
"Yes," we said!
And "Yes," I do need to get a life.
Hey that's awesome! "she said"
If we adopted this "she suggested" it would make quotations in literature a lot easier to get right! "she joked"
Maybe this sign is from a reverso-universe "she pondered"
