fake births

Tad hit the jackpot in the city hall of Providence RI. He also spotted a sign for certified "marriages" that I declined to post (bwaha), because ambiguous birth is my favorite. Evidently you can get a birth certificate for things that are not actually births? The second example demonstrates that they also take pretend checks or money orders, but the biggest offense here is using word art. Ever.

The old "Get Me Off of This Roller Coaster" font... I still hate it!

in all my recent word/excel/powerpoint classes, the instructors are in love with word art and spend half the class each time on it. (these are faculty development courses at a major university.) my soul weeps!

What the heck kinda place doesn't take cash, debit or credit? Seriously, I thought money orders were mythical beings invented to scare children.

Word art/powerpoint and bad design with improper quotations makes me want to scream. Love how they were too lazy to reprint the additional text at the bottom and just said WTF, I'll just write in marker, same difference.

I love your blog, just found it. Oh I'll be coming back.
