I think wisdom naturally comes with time. But you have to really apply yourself to get the holiness. Or something.
Application is one of the steps of methodically studying the Bible, as in, how do I apply this to my life?
The application of reading the 'books of wisdom' (Proverbs & Psalms) is for personal holiness, or acting more like God than you are now.
