THE SHED!!!! The Shed is the greatest bbq place EVER. I'm so excited to see pictures from there... I spent 5 weeks in Biloxi (long story) and went to the shed whenever possible. Oh, nostalgia.
I'm with Sharon. It made me giggle, though...they can't spare any quotation marks/apostrophes for "it's"; they're too busy using them in the wrong places. Too funy.
Maybe "ITS" is the sheriff in town! In other words, "ITS THE LAW," just lets you know who's in charge! (Or, maybe it's "whose" in charge, since Whose is the deputy.)
John has it right. It is the best BBQ ever. Ever. And the potato salad is to die for.
I once interviewed the owner. He built a tiny little shed-like structure to begin with, and he's exchanged BBQ for the labor and supplies for all the expansions since then.
(I can't see that picture, or I'd comment on that, too.)
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.
