"congrats" I guess

Scott quips, "Well, if that's the way its going to be, does that mean I can 'pay' back the student loans?" As a side note, this is the second example of congrats in quotation marks from UMD. I guess they don't think much of managing to finish their bachelors degree.

Unnecessary quotes and unnecessary capitalization. Let's hope whoever is writing these letters is not a graduate.

Actually, this was for my MD degree. Yes, 8 years of education (and tuition) beyond high school and all I get is a "congratulations."

Well, maybe they were using the quotation marks because they were *saying* "congratulations", as a quote. Maybe?

Or, as I was told when I graduated (not from UMD), congrat's!
