It's a "good" bacteria! And it certainly "won't" kill you!
Apparently there are two forms of 'probiotic bacteria BB-12' but my question is, what are the uses for the "bad" form?

An entertaining Kefir label:

Or: "This stuff is great. It's the same as any other."
