Angela writes, "To be fair, they sell trail--er, mobile homes. But I don't think they should draw attention to the fact that their 'homes' are not really homes, should they?"
It's because they're known around town for going "Yo, Homes! Wussup?!" to everyone they see, despite being decidedly Caucasian. Now everyone sees them and is like "Oh geez, don't make eye contact, it's the 'Homes' people!"
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

haha, Jeff, you're usually funny, but that was fantastic.
Oh man, I just moved back to IC after 3 years in the chicagoland area. I can't believe I didn't remember to grab this one. Very good!
Perhaps my favorite one yet. Too funny, thanks!
I think the people who buy those homes totally get it. As for the Hames people...
It's because you can park it at work. After work you go "home". But you're still there.
exactly what i was thinking jeff.
@jeff: LOL. And this is in Iowa, perhaps the whitest state in America.
@ijosh: As soon as I saw this blog, I thought of that sign and had to run right down there and snap a picture of it. :-)
more homely, really.
Naw, I'm from New Hampshire. NH kicks everyone else's ass in whiteness. Except maybe Maine.
