Anders translates this from the Danish roughly as: "Blinds" - "by measure" - many colours.
He also suggests that it may not matter if the blinds fit the windows anyway if they are really just a cucumber and a piece of lint.

I wouldn't say they're normal - or even "normal" - it's kind of the old way to do it...
