tastes just like "chicken"

I'm just going to go with what Teague wrote:
I snapped this picture with my cell phone at a Quiznos shop here in Washington, DC. Perhaps it's a snide comment on how chickens are robbed of their chicken-ness on factory farms. But probably not. Plus, bonus misspelling of "chilli"!

That's how 'chilli' is spelled in the UK. Maybe they have a British person writing their signs?

Yikes. Not sure I want to know what's really in it.

Ugh, and I have a really good one from Quizno's too. The pic came out wicked blurry, though, and I haven't been back to that part of town for a while. Soon, though, soon.

why would anyone actually write "chicken"??? assuming poultry substitute isn't actually on the menu, what are they honestly trying to acomplish with that?

Some people, I have no idea why, seem the think quotation marks imply emphasis or are a decorative tool (also usually to imply emphasis).

The alledged "chicken" may in fact be quail from britain.

Hopefully it's not the same "chicken" they serve at Taco Bell and some Chinese restaurants.

"Meow?"

Not quite the Bradys said...

Ewww. I don't want any meowing "chicken". "Chicken", "meat raffle", it's just not a good protein day here at the "blog".

Well, at my college "Chicken" actually means vegan chicken. It tastes like chicken, but is made of soy or something. We also have "beef".

yes, andi, but why in this case? is someone just really concerned for the vegans? "nope. CHI-KEN. not for you."
