Keith saw this in the bathroom of a sushi place in silver spring, MD. I wish we could see this alleged knob, because why would you think to turn a pushing lock? And are these words code for something else?
Not a funny answer here, but there are door locks that if you press them, they unlock when you turn the knob. But if you press and turn, it stays locked, even when you turn the knob. So i imagine they had problems with the door getting stuck locked when people left the bathroom.
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

If I was in this bathroom, I would pull it, just for the fun of it.
You see a doorknob with a small button in the center. The button looks like it can be turned or pushed in.
"I turn the knob."
You have been pricked by a tiny needle. Roll save vs. poison.
some people are just gluttons for punishment, trying to turn a tiny, perfectly round button. isn't it pretty clear when it's a push vs turn?
