Ok, the innuendo jokes here are just WAY too easy. Also, we barely know what's in hot dogs, I don't even want to think about what "hot dogs" might contain. Jason took this photo at a BP gas station.
Apparently, only "Hot Dogs, etc." are allowed to serve themselves the above buns. Those of us not included in etc. must be served the plain or whole-wheat buns.
I like the "The buns are above." It makes me feel like someone is helping me. It's a kind woman's voice telling me how to assemble my delicious "Hot Dog" at the gas station.
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

Wow! this actually made me laugh :(
Wow. "The buns are above" is a GREAT slogan!
Maybe this time they literally mean hot dogs, as in overheated canines.
or, anonymous, maybe it's what someone said about the place. I can see the Zagat survey now: "The buns are above" at this purveyor of "hot dogs"...
This one is very above.
