I didn't really notice until I looked again, but those parentheses are kind of funny. It's like they assumed people would stand out in the parking lot waiting to buy slightly wet floor samples. They have to clarify where to come get them.
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

The (come inside) comment just makes it that much funnier.

"Sopping Wet"
Ooo.
Is my mind just in the gutter, or does this sign have a slightly "naughty" flavor?
May I ask What liquuid hs made these dislays slightly wet?
Can they not dry them off before selling? Someone needs to get that store some Bounty!
I think this might be the oddest one yet, if not the out-and-out funniest.
Why are they wet? Are they "gently used" too?
well tom, if you're wondering just how wet these displays are, why don't you come inside...

so don't purchase anything for your kitchen or bath there, as it would seem they appear to have a tendancy toward leakage.
yay that's in my town!!
i went inside. it's from when we had 10 feet of flooding in the flood areas.
amazingly enough, since the storm (which was like early summer) they've still got the same sign up!
