Kaylyn writes, " This was in my office in the kitchen sitting atop many boxes of tissues." I don't even know what to say. Maybe this is a test, to see who is the person stealing the tissues?
I don't know which is the worst here - the breaking apart of 'yourself,' the inappropriate use of the quotes, or the MULTIPLE inappropriate uses of the quotes!
I sent this one in. My manager leaves note like this a lot, but this one... I didn't know what to think. It just makes no sense at all. All I knew was I had to take a picture and send it to the people I knew would love it as much as I do.
Please send your submissions via email to bethanykeeley (at) gmail.com. I look at them all, but it might take a while to get to yours -- sorry! I love you all, but I only have so much energy in a day.
If you want your picture to make the blog DO NOT @tweet them, or leave them in a comment. I need them all in the same place. Make sure your emails are easily distinguishable from spam or viruses (I use gmail web interface, so images get previews).
I don't usually post the following: newspaper headlines, personal email, craigslist postings, unprofessional websites. I also tend to not crosspost things from other blogs, since I have so much unique material waiting for me to get to it.
Things I see a lot: silica gel "do not eat"; hair dryer labels; inside the bus "do not drill"; Wal-mart sign about IDs; coffee machine with "2" cup sizes; employees must "wash hands"; that failblog post.

This one is by far one of my favorites! Let's give them a prize.
Holy. Shit.

This is profound. What *is* the "self", anyway? And can I truly call it "mine"? By "helping" "my" "self", am I in fact hurting it?
