fake polite epidemic

If I had to pick one word that got quotationed (yes, I just made up that word) the most, it would be "please". I'm beginning to wonder if these sign-makers consider it slang for the older phrase, "if you please". Thanks, Kamm.

For Pete's sake, don't criticize punctuation until you learn how to put the period or comma INSIDE the quotation marks.

Your new word "quotationed" is a prime example of "verbing" (my word)--making nouns into verbs. I love it!
